A field-based territory sales role tracking social housing projects for a range of external doors and windows, with a focus on high-rise refurbishment projects. The role involves securing business from local authorities, housing associations, and tier 1 contractors in the social housing sector.
Package: Circa £45k basic with a +15% bonus scheme, 24 days holiday, hybrid car or car allowance, 6% company pension, and access to an employee benefits app which includes subsidised gym membership.
Territory: West Midlands, North West & Yorkshire - focusing on Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Bradford, and Leeds.
Selling: External doors and windows, including fire doors.
Customers: Local authorities, housing associations, and Tier 1 contractors.
THE ROLE - Regional Sales Manager:
1. Promoting a leading range of front doors and windows into the social housing sector.
2. Tracking high-rise refurbishment projects for fire-rated front doors.
3. Influencing and securing business from local authorities, housing associations, social housing providers, and Tier 1 contractors.
4. Inheriting an account base and project bank to track and win business, while also prospecting for new business.
5. Working alongside project managers overseeing installations, who provide valuable information for future business.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT - Regional Sales Manager:
1. Experience selling into the social housing sector is required.
2. Applicants with a doors background are preferred, but candidates from other building product backgrounds will also be considered.
3. Proactive and target-driven with excellent communication skills.
4. Organised and structured self-starter who enjoys being on the road in front of customers.
