We are seeking a committed and compassionate Support Worker to join an alternative provision school based in Liverpool. This setting provides education and care for students who have found mainstream school challenging and require a more tailored, nurturing environment to succeed.
About the Role:
In this role, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
* Support students both in and out of the classroom
* Help create a calm, safe, and structured learning environment
* Build strong, trusting relationships with students and staff
* Use de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies to support students through difficult moments

* Previous experience working with challenging behaviour is desirable but not essential
