About you:
We are looking to recruit a passionate Team Leader, for our existing services supporting adults with Learning Disabilities (age range 50 - 80). If you want to lead a team of individuals that make a difference to people lives every day, in a supportive and caring environment then this is the role for you!
You will need to have demonstrable experience in a similar role as you will be responsible for managing a team of approx. 5/6 Support Workers and overseeing care for 6 Service Users.
You must have strong leadership and organisational skills.
Ideal candidates should hold a minimum Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
Contracts available:
Full time - 38 hours per week.
Role will include a mixture of shifts Monday - Friday, daytime, evenings, weekends (alternate weekends, working every other weekend) and sleep-in duties in accordance with Rota system.

Purpose Of Position -
* To support the management team in the running of the service.
* To assist the management team to deliver a high-quality service to our clients.
* To assist the management team in achieving local and Company targets relating to the service.
* To assist the management team to ensure quality and compliance with CQC (Care Quality Commission) Fundamental Standards and legislative requirements.
Key Role and Responsibilities:
* To ensure a flexible approach is adhered to by the team to meet the needs of the service user.
* To ensure that staff are organised and effective in creating the optimum level of opportunity and stimulation for each service user.
* To ensure that individual Person-Centred Plans are adhered to and reviewed monthly as a minimum or when a change occurs by the staff team.
* To attend support planning/ review meetings as required.
* To ensure records are maintained by everyone, to the required standards.
* As an authorised staff member assist service users in the Administration of their personal financial affairs including budgeting, paying bills and buying food etc.
* To support Key workers/ support workers in their role including acting as a role model for “best practice.”
* To liaise with external agencies on behalf of the service users including medical, G.P, Day services, Social Workers and families and assist in making appointments, as necessary.
* To ensure all risk assessments are completed, implemented, monitored and reviewed regularly and in line with organisational and legislative requirements.
* To ensure all staff work in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures.
* To adhere strictly to The Health and Safety at work procedures.
* To participate in the quality assurance procedures by completing audits of practice as delegated by the management team.
* To provide three monthly supervision and annual appraisals to allocated members of the support team.
* To ensure appropriate skills and knowledge of each support worker by assisting the management team to identify learning and development needs of the team and individual support workers.
* To participate in the on-call rota.
* To attend at the office at times designated by the management team to be involved in the office management and to keep apprised of policy and administrative changes.
