Position: SaaS Sales Consultant
Location: Remote working (Must be UK based for client visits)
Salary: Competitive (£50-60k) + uncapped commission - £80k plus first year OTE
We are recruiting for a fast-growing UK based SaaS software business delivering eCommerce inventory and order systems that integrate into leading accounting software providers such as Xero, QuickBooks and many others. Their software is used by thousands of companies across the globe to help customers get their orders fulfilled in quick time!
In this role, the SaaS Sales Consultant will play a critical role in driving the growth of the business by identifying new sales opportunities and cultivating relationships with potential clients.
You will leverage your knowledge of IT business solutions to consult with businesses, understand their requirements, and propose a technical solution to meet your customer’s needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an innovative team and contribute to the success of new clients across Europe. Key Responsibilities in this role:
* Build net-new SaaS software sales
* Engage with prospects and clients to understand their business needs and pain points.
* Provide consultative selling and expert advice on business systems, offering tailored solutions to improve clients' operations and efficiency.
* Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities through lead generation, cold calling, and relationship-building.
* Conduct product demos, presentations, and meetings with key decision-makers.
* Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* 2-5 years of experience business application sales or software sales with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* The ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders / business owners.
* Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with a strong ability to close deals.
* Proficiency in using CRM software for managing leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
* Strong customer relationship management skills, with a focus on understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
* Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Willingness to travel for client meetings, presentations, and industry events as required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Identify new clients and leads through various channels, including internet lead generation, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
* Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals.
* Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to key stakeholders and decision-makers.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
* Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.
* Work closely with technical and implementation teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project delivery.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and deal status in the company’s CRM system. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
