Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Dispensing medications
* Stock control, stock rotation, expiry date checking and use of the Pharmacy IT System
* Provides an effective reception service, receiving incoming work and dealing with customer enquiries.
* Maintains stock of dispensing sundries and carries out housekeeping duties to maintain good environmental standards.
* Supports the training and development of pharmacy team
The core hours of the branch are an 8 hour shift (with 1 hour unpaid lunch) from 0900 - 1800 Monday to Friday. Applicants will be expected to work full core hours on Thursday and Friday, with flexibility in remaining hours over Monday to Wednesday.

Person specification
Qualifications and Education
* 2 GCSE Passes Grade C or above (or equivalent) must include Maths and English
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience of working in a team
* Good telephone/ communication skills
* Knowledge of stock control systems
* Experience of working in pharmacy
* Experience of working in a customer facing role
* Experience of working in a busy environment.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
