Summary: The Group Finance Manager is responsible for leading and supporting of the Finance Team in the provision of timely and accurate financial information for the Group. Specific Responsibilities/Tasks: Day-to-day support of all financial functions within the department Timely production of the monthly management information. Consolidation of Group results Preparing and posting month end journals Balance Sheet reconciliations Maintain Fixed Asset Schedules Work with Commercial for clearer understanding and analysis of costs and revenue Reconciliation with Costings reports Produce narratives to the monthly MI results for presentation to the Directors providing insight into areas of focus Monthly/Quarterly VAT returns Submission of CIS returns Submission of ONS Surveys Responsible for the efficient running of the Purchase Ledger function Ad Hoc Ad hoc duties, reporting and analysis to support the team to meet their deadlines Support decision-making across the Group Coaching and development of other team members Collaborate with all stakeholders in the business with regard to the financial operations of the Group. Qualififcations & Training: Excellent and accurate PC skills with a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint Sage 50/Sage 200 working knowledge Technical Skills & Experience Ability to lead and direct with good interpersonal skills Clear communication skills Well organised and has good attention to detail whilst still working to tight deadlines
