We are seeking customer-oriented and organised Team Leaders to join our Guest Services Crew here at Mt Hutt. As the first point of contact for guests, your team will play a crucial role in ensuring their experience is enjoyable and efficient. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a friendly personality, with the ability to lead a team and handle multiple tasks.
As a seasonal Team Leader, you will report to the Guest Services Head of Department and assist in delivering the company's purpose, mission, and department objectives.
About the Role
* assisting your Head of Department in the efficient and friendly operation of the department
* ensuring smooth daily operations by organising and rostering and scheduling staff as required
* finding ways to support your team's wellbeing throughout the season
* training and ongoing coaching of front line staff to seek opportunities to ensure exceptional customer experience
* liaising with different departments
* processing sales as well as all responding to enquiries, such as bookings, rescheduling or product information, face-to-face or via phone and email for all mountains
* supporting guests who have purchased online through our websites and agent portals to ensure a seamless post-purchase experience
* operation of the Point of Sale till system and balancing takings at the end of each day
* handling lost property.

About You
* skilled in leadership and team collaboration
* outstanding ability to provide clear guidance to team members through strong communication skills for effective team collaboration
* creates positive work environment
* proven ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
* 2+ years customer service experience
* adaptable to following procedures and absorbing large amount of information
* experienced with Point of Sale systems
* an understanding that employment is subject to the vagaries of the weather and the hours of work cannot be guaranteed

* Hourly rate of pay: $29 - $32
* Minimum 30 hours per week
