Deadline for receipt of applications: 10am, 12 February 2024
We are looking for a dynamic and committed individual to join our legal team as Lead Immigration Lawyer, based in our London office. This is an exciting role, suitable for someone who enjoys using the law creatively and working collaboratively. The role offers significant opportunities for growth and development, increasing your immigration/public law experience and knowledge through working on emerging issues affecting survivors of trafficking. This role will be key to developing ATLEU’s extensive network of partnerships, including frontline organisations working with survivors, and developing training and resources which respond to survivors’ emerging needs in the context of the new immigration and trafficking law and policy. The role also brings enormous potential for developing systemic challenges and effecting positive change for this vulnerable group.
The role includes the provision of immigration advice and representation to survivors of trafficking and slavery under a legal aid contract. We also secure funding to support the provision of specialist advice which falls outside of legal aid.
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of three years’ PQE and experience of providing supervision. We would also consider applications from exceptional candidates who have a demonstrable commitment to this area of law and have at least two years’ relevant legal experience.
Closing date for applications: 10am on Monday 12th February 2024.
