Staff role for an Operations Planner and Project Engineer.
Location: Aberdeen City Centre
Supporting a North Sea FPSO asset

Responsibilities:
1. Manage Operational/ Asset objectives from the planning, scheduling and progress reporting standpoint.
2. Serve as focal point in the preparation, maintenance, progressing and reporting of the Asset Plans covering 28 and 90 day plans and other durations as required.
3. Support as a project engineer for various activities on below project functions:
1. Coordinate with engineering, vendors, supply chain, offshore team and other stakeholders as required.
2. Interface coordination.
3. Follow up on material related to the activity from procurement to final delivery.
4. Follow up on MOC through its various phases (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and closeouts).
4. Support the OIM and TMM in the management and leveling of offshore personnel (ie core crew and visitors) within the allowable POB for the Asset.
5. Support the Asset team in the preparation of Level 4 Maintenance Schedule for specific activities such as Shutdowns, Tank inspection campaigns, mini projects, including coordination and communication of these schedules to all parties.
6. Liaise with Vendors, OEMs and Internal Organization to ensure timely confirmation and mobilization of vendor reps/technicians and the company’s Roving Team as per the required-on-site (ROS) dates detailed in the integrated plan and/or critical L4 ad-hoc schedules.
7. Coordinate with the Life Extension Team to ensure that detailed and regularly updated Life Extension Schedules are integrated into the Asset Integrated Schedule.
8. Work within the computer based maintenance system (IFS) and planning software (P6 Primavera) to create plans.
9. Assist the TMM in preparation and management of budgets and control expenditure as and when required.
10. Participate in JSA / FSA as and when required.
11. Undertake training relevant to the position requirements.
Specific Requirements:
Education:
Technical diploma from an accredited institution.
Experience:
Significant experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Offshore (FPSO) experience is highly advantageous.
Interpersonal Skills:
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge:
Good understanding and knowledge of many if not all of the following:
1. Familiar with Offshore operations and shutdowns.
2. Excellent computer skills; Primavera P6, MS-Excel and MS-Word.
3. Familiar with computerized maintenance systems.
4. Fluent in spoken and written English.
5. Industry specific knowledge of systems, organization, procedures and regulatory body requirements.
Other:
The position will require travel to offshore regularly and long working hours in peak periods.
