As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering a stimulating and inclusive curriculum that fosters creativity, confidence, and curiosity in young learners. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting children's early development, and creating a warm and inspiring classroom environment. Key Responsibilities of EYFS Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons in alignment with the EYFS framework, ensuring a stimulating and developmentally appropriate learning experience. Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and develop their skills. Monitor, assess, and document children's progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs and developmental milestones. Support early literacy, numeracy, and social development through interactive and creative learning activities. Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, parents, and school staff to foster a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence, helping young learners develop confidence, resilience, and a love for learning. Requirements of EYFS Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development. Passion for early childhood education and a creative teaching approach. Excellent classroom management and organisational skills. Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
