About the Role ofAssistant Head Housekeeper
We are currently seeking a driven, highly motivated and supremely organisedAssistant Head Housekeeperto ensure five star standards and meticulous attention to detail are achieved throughout the Hotel.
The Housekeeping team is a vital, dynamic and an incredibly hard-working team, with a common goal to ensure we aim to exceed customer expectations at all times. Driving high cleaning standards and working efficiently together as part of One Team.
Here is a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
* You will assist, support, and supervise our Housekeeping Team
* Attending and participating in daily meetings for preparation.
* Printing Housekeeping Sheets for the Team and issuing.
* Improving our standards and the quality of our service, consistently exceeding our guest expectation, and wowing our Guests.
* Always warm and thoughtful, you and your team will make sure all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly, effectively, and professionally.
* You will check all areas before, during and at the end of each shift, ensuring our sky-high standards are maintained; you will also conduct cleanliness checks across all areas of both guest and colleague facing areas.
* Playing a key role in ensuring the motivation of our team, you will work with them, involved in their buddying up, training and development. This is a very hands-on role.
* Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful, and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us five stars in every way.
* Work alongside the Head Housekeeper and cover when on holiday.
* As an Assistant Head Housekeeper, you will be tasked with ensuring the quality and standards of your allocated shift.
* Whilst assisting with daily work assignments, you will help to manage the work of your team members, providing clear guidance and training where necessary.
* You will pro-actively respond to requests from our members and guests, going the extra mile to ensure their needs are met.
* Assisting with Rotas when Head Housekeeper is off on holiday.
* You will communicate maintenance requests to our Maintenance Team and follow up to ensure they are actioned.
Who we are looking for.
* First, you are a friendly and outgoing team player who enjoys seeing a job well done.
* You can be trusted to work unsupervised, and you've excellent communication and people skills.
* You've basic computer skills, ideally in Office programmes such as Word and Excel.
* You are enthusiastic, initiative-taking and enthusiastic about providing the best service for our guests.
* Able to work well in a team providing full support to the team.
* You must be able to work well with the Head Housekeeper to ensure all standards are met.
* Ideally, you will have worked in a housekeeping role before and have supervisory experience in a quality establishment within a 4 or 5* Hotel.
