Key Responsibilities
Marketing Expertise
* Execute the marketing strategy developed by the Marketing Director, transforming high-level plans into impactful campaigns and initiatives to drive audience growth, fan engagement, and revenues across Silverstone’s full range of offering.
* Oversee the operational rollout of all marketing campaigns – both B2B and B2C - from strategy to delivery for marquee events such as the British Grand Prix, MotoGP and Silverstone Festival, as well as corporate experiences, ensuring every campaign meets timelines, budgets, and performance targets.
* Own Silverstone’s audience strategy from research and insight through to fan journeys, ensuring a seamless experience across all touchpoints.
* Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying new and innovative marketing solutions, using internal and external insight.
* Continually analyse performance metrics and produce regular reports with actionable insights to inform data-driven decisions and optimise marketing strategies.
* Support the Partnerships team to ensure that requirements and assets are delivered, and Partner goals and objectives are met.
Brand
* Development and delivery of a comprehensive brand marketing strategy to strengthen the identity of the Silverstone brand and set the vision for growth across key markets.
* Act as the brand guardian, working closely and collaboratively with all departments to ensure that any content distributed is of high quality and consistent.
* Continually review and refine the value proposition of each product offering at Silverstone, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs.
* Build and manage media relationships to generate positive press coverage and strengthen Silverstone’s brand reputation.
Leadership/Stakeholder Management
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create standout marketing campaigns, driving attendance, engagement, and revenue across product verticals, ensuring effective and efficient management.
* Create a culture of innovation within the team, thinking differently to push boundaries and set industry standards.
* Motivate, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team, setting clear objectives, offering development opportunities, and empowering team members.
* Build and nurture strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as event partners, to amplify Silverstone’s success.
* Manage a portfolio of agencies to support the internal Silverstone team and ensure the delivery of marketing campaigns, as well as enhancing relationships with key media organisations (Meta, TiKTok, etc.).
Finance
* Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation to maximise ROI and align with Silverstone’s broader objectives.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Proven Experience and Expertise
* A track record of success in delivering operational marketing plans within sports, entertainment, or leisure industries that drive revenue.
* Demonstrable experience in executing impactful B2B and B2C campaigns across a wide range of products.
* Deep knowledge of event marketing, digital strategies, branding, and PR best practices.

Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. An MBA or advanced degree is a bonus.
