Audio Visual Installation Engineer

Salary: £33,000 to £38,000 per annum

Main Responsibilities
1. Install system cabling and equipment such as mounts, screens, and other AV hardware.
2. Set up and install video conferencing units, primarily Zoom and Teams, using equipment from Lifesize, Poly, and Cisco.
3. Test and fine-tune audio, visual, and communication quality to ensure optimal results.
4. Collaborate with audio and control programmers to deliver comprehensive solutions during installations.
5. A good understanding of professional audio setups is beneficial, as this is one of our specialisms.
6. Opportunities to learn and programme control systems for clients will be available for those interested.
Ideal Candidate
1. At least two years of experience in audio-visual and video conferencing installation.
2. A strong employment history with a commitment to career growth.
3. Ambition to learn and adapt to rapidly changing technologies.
4. A keen interest in technology and the audio-visual/video conferencing industry.
5. Experience with Microsoft Office and proficiency with Windows and Mac OS.
6. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Beneficial Experience (training will be provided if required)
1. Experience with Dante audio.
2. Knowledge of balanced/unbalanced audio and other complex audio system elements.
3. Familiarity with programming control systems (e.g., Kramer or similar).
Requirements
1. Full, clean UK driving licence (a company vehicle is provided, but personal transport is ideal when teams are split).
2. Right to live and work in the UK.
