You should have hands-on experience in stable isotope analysis, and we especially value those with industrial and project management experience. Proven expertise in method development and optimisation is a key asset. You will possess specialised knowledge in stable isotope analysis techniques, data analysis, statistics, and programming tools, along with strong technical and IT skills for instrument optimisation. You should have a logical, adaptable and growth mindset, excellent active listening abilities, and exceptional organisational skills. Proficiency in conceptual thinking, a methodical approach, sharp problem-solving skills, and clear communication are essential. In addition to these technical skills, you should excel in teamwork, understand commercial priorities, and be driven, enthusiastic, and self-motivated. You'll continuously refine and optimise existing analytical methods to enhance performance, accuracy, and efficiency, while implementing improvements to streamline workflows and increase throughput. As part of your responsibilities, you will diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges related to analytical instrumentation, providing technical support and expertise to ensure seamless operation. Collaboration is key; you'll work closely with application scientists and product managers to propose tailored solutions that align with analytical requirements. Fostering cross-functional collaboration will be crucial in aligning our analytical capabilities with organisational goals. Additionally, you will develop and document detailed process sequences, specifications, and work instructions for the test field, creating comprehensive documentation for procedures and protocols to ensure clarity and accessibility.
