The ideal candidate would be an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant, who has previously dealt with Pathological Demand Avoidance. This would be a full-time, long-term position, starting in January and continuing for the rest of the academic year. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your role will include: Supporting a Year 6 pupil with Pathological Demand Avoidance on a 1-1 basis. Helping the child navigate disruptions and dysregulation with empathy and understanding. Collaborating with the Primary School's Class Teacher to implement tailored learning plans Providing feedback to staff and parents about the child's progress. Required Skills and Experience: ????? A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning. Experience in a UK Primary School, preferably with SEND pupils. Previous experience working with children who have SEND (Preferably working with a child with pathological demand avoidance). Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with the Class Teacher. A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach. Working as a SEND Teaching Assistant with Flourish Education offers: £85.02 to £98.41 daily pay, equating to £16,578.90 to £19,189.95 annually for full-time work.
