We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Director to join our Workplace Business Development team. This is a great job for someone with a deep understanding of the Workplace Savings and Benefits environment, who can effectively communicate these insights to drive growth while advancing their career with the UK's leading Insurance, Wealth, and Retirement business.
A bit about the job:
The Business Development Director will be responsible for a panel of Employee Benefit Consultancies, managing new business leads from tender enquiry, through to provider selection presentations and site visits. You will be expected to develop an excellent understanding of each adviser's drivers and operating model. You will work closely with other teams within the Workplace business to ensure consistent and high quality communications and tender responses. Additionally, you will lead on the development and direction of Aviva’s Workplace Benefits proposition and sales strategy.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Excellent communication skills
* A deep understanding of Workplace Savings and Benefits environment, and to be able to articulate this both internally and externally.
* Ability to establish, maintain and manage excellent relationships with key stakeholders within your panelled consultancies and within the wider Aviva business.
* Strong planning skills with a very good understanding of internal processes and governance.
* Financial analytic skills, excellent understanding of profit drivers and very good commercial appreciation of cost/benefit of client activity.
