Our client is a leading engineering and design consultancy that specializes in projects across the infrastructure sector.
They currently require the services of a Procurement Assistant to join their procurement team to support in-country procurement members, other in-country stakeholders, and GSSC procurement in the P2P processes.
Role Accountabilities:
1. Assist in the resolution of complex/language-dependent issues
2. Support to Accounts Payable for PO-related invoicing issues
3. Support for internal users Supplier/PR/PO
4. Change Management/support for suppliers transitioning to Purchase Orders
5. Build relationships through multiple stakeholder channels to provide support
6. Collaborate with cross-functional partners and peers to leverage knowledge, resources and ensure consistency, and share best practices
7. Work with equivalents in Accounts Payable to resolve purchasing holds and other issues
8. Work with equivalents in the DtR team to resolve purchasing holds and other issues
9. Support Direct and Indirect Procurement to maintain purchasing documents (controls)
Key Shared Accountabilities:
1. Assisting with the CWK process
2. Monitoring of DtR Mailbox for notifications of new CWKs and extensions
3. Updating of CWK listing
4. Raising CWK orders for new CWKs & increasing/adjusting existing orders, as & when required – rate increases/reductions
5. Assisting with setting CWK Override rates
6. Monitoring of failed receipt reports on a weekly basis
7. Dealing with queries & resolutions in respect of CWK timesheet amendments/corrections
8. Assisting AP in resolving issues with CWK invoices
9. Assisting with offline CWK processes
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
1. Demonstrate experience working in a procurement setting under a large complex matrix organization (ideally within a source-to-invoice P2P environment)
2. Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams around a common purpose
3. Show experience being agile, motivated, with good time management skills, and a confident communicator who can build strong relationships
4. Experience working with Microsoft’s suite of tools and services and an ERP; procurement qualifications are highly desirable
