Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing & Engineering - Prescot - Up to £53,000
About the company
Due to expansion, our client is looking for multiple maintenance engineers to work as part of the engineering FMCG manufacturing team to provide effective and efficient mechanical and electrical support throughout the factory. Tasks will involve reactive support in the factory; continuous improvement projects planned though the maintenance system and planned maintenance tasks. The role will be working with a wide range of complex automated cooking processes and packaging equipment.

Salary up to £53,000
4 on 4 off (2 days & 2 nights) Maintenance Engineer – Requirements
Experience of FMCG operations
Relevant engineering qualification
Able to prove competency in all forms of isolation, electrical safety and safe panel entry
PC Literate (thereby able to use computer-based maintenance systems)
Able to strip machines in full and reassemble them, as well as completing machine size change procedures and their adjustments Maintenance Engineer – Responsibilities
Carrying out of the engineering activities
Achieving P.P.M. Plans and completion rates
Minimizing engineering downtime
Maintaining GMP and safety standards within the Engineering Department
Implementing and ensuring compliance of engineering processes within the team
Ensuring the highest engineering audit standards at all times· Ensuring Engineering skills and knowledge are maintained at the highest level
Daily reporting of breakdowns v PPMs activities
Prioritisation of repair work
Planning and Monitoring machine performance
Working with the Planning Department to negotiate machine availability
Monitoring failure
Supporting External Contractors
Technical support for production when required
To maintain the highest standards in housekeeping, adopting a clean as you go policy
To maintain the highest standards when completing paperwork and works sign off About Us
