GIDS delivers global omni-channel investor servicing, including contact centre, using digital services. About the Role This is a key leadership role within the Bluedoor Production Support team. The role will engage closely with the Head of UK Production Support, Production Support Scrum Master, IT support teams and Operation’s teams across UK & India to enable ongoing Support to production. Your Responsibilities Overall accountability for the Business Support team, providing Level 1 support on key systems. Responsible for the throughput and removal of blockers for the Business Support team. Responsible for owning relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and providing clear status and communications to Head of Production Support Responsible for tracking, monitoring, and reporting on the Business Support team backlog. Responsible for managing high priority defects through to resolution and ensuring clear updates are communicated to key stakeholders across the business. Play a key role in operational and major production incidents ensuring tracking of actions, co-ordination of developers and managing communication upwards to key stakeholders. Responsible for communicating regular backlog status to senior management and stakeholders. Accountable for the team planning and work allocation. Actively engage with the IT Support teams to monitor Level 1 support and ensure a consistent and quality flow of work into the backlog. Accountable for maintenance of Jira work recording and reporting including appropriate status updates. Collaborate with the wider Operational teams to review targets, focus areas and case management Responsible for actively coaching and supporting the Level 1 team on process and delivery, including setting objectives for team growth and development. Actively contribute to and monitor team motivation and engagement to ensure minimal attrition. Support location based recruitment activities. Performance management of direct reports with ongoing feedback and 1-1 catch-ups. Your Experience Introduction to Securities and Investments IOC Qualification (desirable) ITIL Qualifications (Desirable) Has experience in managing direct reports Has experience work with and communicating across global geographies. Is able to make sound and far-reaching decisions on issues and to take full responsibility for them on a technical or managerial basis. Understands the interdependencies of business processes and information systems and demonstrates ability to see the bigger picture.
