The service delivers a range of activities into Royal Borough of Kingston schools and community settings, maintaining a strong focus on Public Health, promoting and safeguarding childrens health and wellbeing. The recent staff survey demonstrated excellent engagement and indicated that 100% of respondents reported that they have opportunities to suggest new ways of working and enjoy working in the School Health team. You will have completed the SCPHN programme or have significant experience in a school health team or equivalent community setting and be able to demonstrate the clinical skills and knowledge that align with the SCPHN programme. Interviews will take place on 12th March 2025 Main duties of the job You will lead a skill mix team of staff from a variety of health backgrounds to deliver the Healthy Child Programme. Activities will be child centred, inclusive and evidenced-based. You will contribute to Working Together to Safeguard Children (2023), identifying and responding to children at risk to improve their health and wellbeing and reduce inequalities. Staff are encouraged and supported to access opportunities for training and development to enhance and develop their practice in line with the commissioned service.
