Find your place in technology on TeamAmex How will you make an impact in this role? - Perform as a technical subject matter expert for wired and wireless networks. - Assist with and install and support of both wireless and ethernet switched networks across EMEA/AP. - Participate in current state network analysis, requirements gathering for hardware refresh and customer driven change moments - Assist Lead Network Engineer in architecture and infrastructure design - Provide estimates for new site locations by creating a bill of materials against standard architectures - Create pre and post install technical design/implementation documentation - Work as part of the team to define platform and product roadmaps - Work with wireless engineers to survey sites, validate network health and propose configuration changes to optimize the wireless footprint. - Define/analyse heat maps for new site wireless deployments. - Work with network operations centres to assist with incident management. - Coach and mentor others Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience in Enterprise Networking technologies - Proven experience in engineering and supporting networks based on Cisco, Arista and Aruba technologies. - Experience with RF and designing WiFi networks for campus locations - Knowledge of IEEE wireless standards (802.11 g,n,ac,ax), 2.4, 5, and 6Ghz) - Experience with ServiceNow for incident and change management - Strong troubleshooting skills - Knowledge of routing, switching, and network technologies such as Spanning Tree, 802.1Q, Port-Channels, 802.1x, QoS, VLANs, SVIs, and Multicast - Knowledge of engineering tools - Wireshark, PCAP, SSH, Putty - Good understanding of security infrastructure, including firewall concepts - Requires professional written and verbal communication skills - Must be able to function effectively both individually and within a team Qualifications We back our colleagues and their loved ones with benefits and programs that support their holistic well-being.
