Role description LVGI have a new role for a Broker Technical Audit & Governance Manager (Broker) based out one of our office in Brentwood on a hybrid working basis. We have a great opportunity for someone to define and deliver the audit and governance requirements for broker. In additional to work with the wider risk and governance team to ensure ongoing regulator compliance and reporting are in place. To assist the head of technical with reporting and delivery where required. Key Duties: To contribute to wider Broker Personal Lines product underwriting strategy and commercial development as part of the senior management of Personal Lines Underwriting. Responsible for delivering the LV Broker Personal Lines Business plan. To define and deliver a risk and control framework for broker and to co ordinate all reporting stream and production of any necessary reporting. To establish a Personal Lines Broker underwriting risk control framework and audit process, to ensure controls are adequate, and operational underwriting guidelines are adhered to. Have significant knowledge of legal and regulatory issues relating to insurance. Use statistical information to ensure ongoing monitorin of accounts to aid in the ongoing compliance of products in libe with legal and group requirements. To manage the systematic review of Personal Lines Broker annual reviews across all product lines and co rdinate reporting and participate in wider AZP reviews. Act as arbitrator for any issues arising from any governance or audit reviews. To act as a liaison between group audit functions and assist with the provision of any data or information requests along with analysis and implementation of any requirements that might arise from these audits. Provide analysis and interpretation of product related legislation bulletins (ABI, Regulators, Brokers). Develop an appropriate MI reporting suite to support above activities. Skills Required Significant personal lines underwriting experience at management level (especially in Motor or Home) Knowledge of regulatory and governance in insurance. Experience of sitting on industry panels or working groups preferable.
