The post holder will be part of South Tyneside Lifecycle Primary Care Mental Health Service, which incorporates Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) and Child Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS). They will work with adults who have a range of common mental health problems in primary care providing medium level interventions which will include Counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. They will use traditional and innovative treatment methods. The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities. To meet targets set nationally and locally for access, recovery and waiting times. The post holder will ensure they uphold our Trust vision, values and behavioural compact.
