An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced swim professional to join Oldham Active in an established role of Aquatic Development Officer at Royton Leisure Centre. We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team and help deliver top-notch swimming lessons and aquatic services to our community. We require an individual who will share our Company Values: We are always improving We care We make a positive difference We are customer focused We are one team The 35-hour post will oversee Aquatics at one of the Oldham Active sites, Royton Leisure Centre which will include providing support for the Learn to Swim programme, School Swimming lessons, Baby and Pre-school, Intensives and Adult Swimming Lessons at the dedicated site. The ADO will be responsible for the planning, scheduling and coordination of aquatic programmes. They will work closely with instructors, participants and parents to ensure smooth operation, safety and enjoyment of our swim offerings. To succeed in this role, the post holder will need excellent communication skills, be confident, driven and have the ability to work autonomously. They will be open, hardworking, creative and able to quickly build rapport with both young children and school staff with a firm passion for aquatics. We are looking for an individual qualified to both STA Award and Certificate level in Teaching Swimming or equivalent and an STA Pool Lifeguard or Safety Award for Teachers.
