Band 7 Nuclear Medicine Tech/DEXA Radiographer Location: London Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Working Hours: Monday-Friday - 8am-5pm/8.30am-5pm/9am-5pm Pay Rate: £35.00 - £40.00 P/H We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Nuclear Medicine Tech/DEXA Radiographer to join our team in London. This temporary role offers a competitive pay rate of £35-£40 per hour and involves working Monday to Friday, with shift hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, or 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The position is available for an immediate start and is initially set for a duration of 3 months. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled radiographer to work in a specialized and dynamic healthcare environment. Responsibilities: As a Band 7 Nuclear Medicine Tech/DEXA Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine and DEXA imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning. You will operate advanced imaging equipment, including PET/CT scanners and DEXA scanners, ensuring accurate and high-quality images are obtained while adhering to safety protocols. Your role will also involve interpreting imaging results, providing patient care, and working closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support patient management. You will maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations. Requirements: Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification. Current registration with the HCPC. Postgraduate qualification in Nuclear Medicine and/or DEXA scanning. At least 3 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine or DEXA Radiographer, preferably at Band 7 level. Proficiency in operating Nuclear Medicine and DEXA equipment. Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and imaging techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
