Key Details:
Role: Computer Science Teacher, KS3 and KS4.
Location: Vibrant secondary school in Colchester.
Pay: £140 - £200 per day, based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule: 4 days per week, ongoing position.
Start Date: January 2025
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective Computer Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
Teach a wide range of digital and artistic genres, including Microsoft Office, Specialist Exams, animation, stop motion, podcasting, and Book Creator.
Inspire students to explore the evolving world of Computer Science and develop their digital skills.
Maintain a supportive and dynamic learning environment in line with school policies.
Ideal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a subject-related degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Skilled in delivering a variety of digital artistic content, fostering creativity and technical expertise.
Passionate about teaching Computer Science, with a strong understanding of the UK curriculum.
Flexible, reliable, and committed to fostering student success in a Colchester school.
Experienced in using modern teaching tools and methodologies to engage learners.
