Here at Yourconstruction we are delighted to be looking for a Finance Manager for an Engineering Company in Manchester.
Hours: Mon- Friday 9-5
Salary: 40k Negotiable
Key Duties:
1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department which have approx. 4 team members: including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.
2. Preparation of management accounts.
3. Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations.
4. Communication of management accounts to management team.
5. VAT/PAYE returns/reconciliations.
6. Cash flow forecasting.
7. Ensure strong financial controls are in place and embedded.
8. Review and automate processes and procedures where necessary.
9. Year-end process liaising with external auditors and production of financial report.
10. Oversee our IT provision.
11. Management of vehicle fleet.
Requirements:
1. Accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA).
2. Experience in a finance management role, preferably in an engineering environment.
3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
