Role Summary
To ensure that all logistics related administration tasks are completed in a timely manner. This involves day to day running of the Goods In Area, data input of all goods receiving and shipping information, recording of all HMRC related data and the input of the data into the Company Inventory Module and other related databases, to assist when required with the Company 3PL activities. In addition, to place purchase orders when required for Logistics/Shipping consumables. A highly driven individual who can adapt to different scenarios within the business, with a professional approach to identify solutions to problems, provide solutions and communicate effectively with other team members in a timely manner. The individual needs to be able to work alone and as part of a team and carry out all relevant tasks and ensure all work is completed on time and in full.
Main Responsibilities
* Import and Export compliance through various Customs brokers.
* Control of Inwards Processing and Customs Warehouse including the preparation of Commercial Invoices, Bill of Discharges and document management.
* Ensure compliance with the Transport of Dangerous Goods regulations.
* To control the Goods Receiving Area and distribute/notify stakeholders when goods arrive.
* To raise Purchase Orders for logistics consumables when required.
* To contribute to accurate stock data by using various software systems.
* To upload shipping data when required.
* To work with, and assist when required, with warehouse and shipping activities.
* To assist in the improvement of existing systems and practices.
* Any other duties associated with, or different from those specified above at the request of the Management, or to meet the needs of the business demands.

* PC literacy (including ERP systems such as AvSight, SAP, Quantum, etc).

* Experience of working in a Warehouse or Office environment.
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
* Proficiency in Warehouse systems and databases.
