Job Brief:
We are seeking for a strategic and results-driven Indirect Procurement Manager to lead the procurement initiatives across the EMEA region. In this pivotal role, you will optimize indirect spend categories, foster supplier partnerships, and deliver impactful cost efficiencies while driving innovation in IT, Marketing, Professional Services, and Facilities sourcing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Sourcing & Category Leadership
* Design and execute regional sourcing strategies aligned with global business objectives.
* Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and industry trends.
* Partner with stakeholders to align category management (IT, Marketing, etc.) with operational needs.
2. Supplier Partnership & Negotiation
* Lead end-to-end supplier lifecycle management, including selection, performance reviews, and contract negotiations.
* Secure favourable terms through advanced negotiation tactics, ensuring quality and value.
3. Cost Efficiency & Data-Driven Insights
* Deliver measurable cost reductions and track savings against ambitious targets.
* Analyse spend data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
4. Process Innovation & Risk Mitigation
* Streamline procurement processes using digital tools and best practices.
* Proactively address supply chain risks and ensure compliance with legal/regulatory standards.
5. Team Development & Collaboration
* Mentor and inspire a high-performing sourcing team, fostering professional growth.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to align sourcing strategies with business goals.
6. Stakeholder Engagement
* Communicate sourcing outcomes and strategies effectively to senior leadership.
* Build trust with internal stakeholders to drive adoption of procurement initiatives.
What You Bring:
Education & Certification
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
* Master’s degree or certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) preferred.
Experience
* 8-10 years in indirect procurement/sourcing, with 3-5 years in a senior EMEA leadership role.
* Proven success in managing multi-million euro spend categories.
Skills
* Leadership: Ability to motivate teams and influence stakeholders.
* Negotiation: Expertise in complex contract negotiations and supplier management.
* Analytical Agility: Proficiency in spend analytics tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa).
* Communication: Fluent in English; additional EMEA languages advantageous.
* Adaptability: Skilled in balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
