Our Client, a Global Engineering company, is seeking a Quality Advisor. This role is placed within the petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Aviation, and Construction industries based in Warrington for a permanent position.
The Role:
As a Quality Advisor, you will be responsible for providing quality support to projects, including quality assurance, quality control, and the audit process. You will have +5 years of experience working in a highly regulated industry (petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Aviation, Construction).
Key Activities:
1. Provide quality-related advice and guidance to the project, capturing all quality-related data such as audit findings, non-conformities, observations, and improvement opportunities.
2. Conduct internal and external audits in accordance with the published project audit programme and produce reports related to audit outcomes.
3. Prepare and review Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and supporting QA documentation.
4. Liaise with Project Quality Control inspectors to ensure all Hold Points/Witness Points are met in a compliant manner.
5. Validate and implement the effectiveness of project corrective actions resulting from any non-conformities or internal/external audits.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Good Engineering, QMS, and QA/QC background in the petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Aviation, and Construction industries.
* CQI Membership or pursuing accreditation and recognized current Internal Auditor qualification - Essential.
* Full understanding of how to deliver internal audits and develop project QA documentation (Quality Plans, ITPs, etc.).
* Ability to understand and interpret ISO Management System Standards, technical drawings, and a good understanding of ISO 45001 & 14001.
* +5 years experience working in a highly regulated industry (petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Aviation, Construction).
Experience/Qualification in one or more of the following special processes:
* NDT, heat treatment, surface treatment, dimensional verification - a distinct advantage.
* Pipework, steelwork, and insulation knowledge - Desirable.
* Detailed knowledge of related specifications (API, ASME, ASTM, ISO, PED, etc.) - Advantageous.
* Willingness to travel to multiple sites.
