Job Title: School Administrator Location: Wolverhampton, UK Overview: We are seeking a School Administrator to join a dedicated team in Wolverhampton. This is a full-time, permanent role with 40 working hours per week during term time, plus an additional three weeks (42 weeks per year). Salary: £11.72 - £12.04 per hour (depending on experience) The school offers a bespoke education for children and young people aged 5-19 with ASC/SEMH needs. Key Responsibilities: As part of the administration team, you will: Serve as a first point of contact for visitors, responding to calls and emails in a welcoming and professional manner. Provide support with exams administration. Maintain and manage the schools Management Information System (MIS). Ensure the security and safety of the school, including controlled entry to the premises. Organize, update, and retrieve student assessment records and statistical data. Adhere to procedures to maintain the confidentiality of data and information. Collaborate with colleagues and senior staff to achieve objectives efficiently. Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, carers, local authorities, and the wider community. Flexibility is key as duties may vary within this role, which is typical in SEN environments. Essential Skills and Experience: Successful candidates should demonstrate: Proficiency in IT, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and database use. Strong literacy and numeracy skills (minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English and Maths, or equivalent). Previous experience in administrative roles or within a school setting. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication, both written and verbal.
