Salary £31,200 - £37,440 depending on experience plus benefits & overtime. There is currently no on-call requirement, but this may be introduced at a later date.
We are recruiting for an experienced Pump Engineer here at Metro Rod North East.

What does it entail?
As a Pump Service Engineer, you will work on a range of pumps and associated equipment.
You will perform general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that our pump systems are operating as specified. You will also carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and installations of our pump stations and associated equipment on a nationwide basis.
* Work on client sites performing general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that our pump systems are operating as specified.
* Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and installations of our pump stations and associated equipment.
* Participate in our Emergency Call Out Rota.
* Work with grey water and effluent systems and work within confined spaces.
* Communicate effectively with the service team, providing reports and photos of pumps and associated equipment, with the use of a PDA and mobile phone.
* Provide a positive and helpful disposition and professionally communicate with customers.
* Work independently or as a member of a team.
What experience do we look for?
* Proven experience of working with grey water and effluent systems/submersible pumping stations.
* Mechanical and electrical skills.
* Full clean UK Driving Licence.
* Good mechanical and electrical skills.
* The ability to work remotely.
* Flexibility to work on our Emergency Call-Out Rota.
* Mature communication skills.
* The ability to deal professionally with customers.
* Constructive interpersonal skills.
* A positive personality and helpful disposition.
* Flexible approach.
* Trustworthy, honest, and have integrity.
* BS7671:2008 17th Edition Wiring Regulations Qualification would be highly advantageous.
