MARINE SALES ADMINISTRATOR Our client is a specialist for intelligent drive technology and systems. Their customers are in diverse industries such as oil and gas, energy, mining, ship technology, rail and commercial vehicles. They are looking to employ on a full-time permanent basis a Marine Sales Administrator. This role will be based in the Company premises in Croydon. Drug and Alcohol related medical for all New Employees upon starting. Marine Sales Administrator – The Offer · £33k to £35k depending on experience · Hours are Mon-Thurs 08:30 to 16:30 and Fri 08:30 to 15:30, a 36.5-hour week · 25 days annual leave · Annual Bonus – Pro rata on year of joining · Pension (3% Employee & 6% Employer) · Life Assurance 3 x salary · Private Health & Dental · Cycle to work scheme Marine Sales Administrator – The Role · Communicate with internal/external customers · Analyse incoming requests, identify anomalies and respond to customers · Address customer questions, issues and needs based on the initial request, ensuring that specific customer requirements and product features are clarified and understood · Prepare and check initial quotations in line with discount policies and Sales Manager Guidence, ensuring that all part numbers, quantities etc. are correctly captured · Submit quotations to customers, ensuring the relevant Sales Manager is able to follow up on these, as needed · Process customer purchase orders in our local ERP system · Effectively communicate changes to dispatch/warehouse with customers · Prepare customer requested shipping documents. · Prepare presentations, collate drawings, technical material to support quotations. · Process Sales Returns and Credits as appropriate. · Support customers with updates on existing orders requests. · Collate and understand risk assessment information · To communicate with Sales managers, Service engineers and other team members to ensure they are informed of project relevant information. · To review quotations created within the Sales admin team to ensure cost and price information is correct, before the offer is released. Marine Sales Administrator – The Person · Proven track record in Sales Administration with both technical and / or engineering products · Experience with shipping within the UK, Europe and North & South Ireland · Must be advanced in Microsoft Word and Outlook, and experience in Navision or SAP would be seen favourably · Experience with the Ministry of Defence products would be beneficial · Excellent communication skills, a can-do attitude and is a team player If this role sounds like you, please follow the prompts to apply or contact Gary at GHA Recruitment on 07930728977 .
