Job Duties:
The KS2 SEN Outreach Tutor will be responsible for providing specialised educational support to Key Stage 2 students with Special Educational Needs. Duties include developing and delivering tailored learning plans, adapting teaching methods to suit individual student needs, monitoring progress, and collaborating with school staff and parents to ensure holistic support for each student.
Required Qualifications:
A relevant teaching qualification
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Proven experience working with children with Special Educational Needs in an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of SEN strategies and best practises, ability to create individualised learning plans, strong communication and collaboration skills, patience, and empathy
Working Conditions:
The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing outreach support to students. The tutor may need to travel to different locations (learners homes and local libraries) within the East of England, Essex, Wivenhoe area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
