A global insurance firm is seeking an experienced generalist HR Advisor to be responsible for delivering on operational HR activities and initiatives across multiple business lines within the organisations group of companies. They will be accountable for delivering a professional, internal consultancy service to the business, providing support and advice on a range of human resources activities, both locally and internationally, covering the entire employee lifecycle. The hours are 9am-5pm with an hour for lunch. The role is hybrid (3 or 4 days per week in the office (based in Heathrow, West London) during probationary period and 2 or 3 days in the office after passing probation). The role is paying up to £40,000 and the company offers good benefits including 25 days holiday and an 8% pension contribution. In this role youll: Advise, coach and partner line managers on all aspects of people management and development Work in tandem with the Senior HR Business Partner team to support the Sr. Director People EMEA & Global Specialty Lines of Business in the execution and delivery of key HR Global projects Counsel employees in relation to all HR related matters, managing any escalations and mitigating risk, and provide an advisory and escalation point for the HR Assistant Supervise the HR Assistant to ensure accuracy, quality and delivery of offer letters, contracts and general correspondence as required Support the execution of key annual processes including compensation planning, performance management and development In conjunction with the HR Assistant, partner the business in all recruitment activities Manage an ER caseload providing support and guidance to Managers in managing processes and procedures ensuring adherence to legislative requirement Manage the quality, accuracy and validity of data across all HR systems Execute on Acquisition/TUPE processes To be suitable for this role youll be/have: CIPD qualified (Level 3 or above) Deep and proven HR Advisor generalist experience within a multisite environment ideally Skills in relationship building and influencing key stakeholders at all levels Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and experience of researching gaps in knowledge Strong experience of dealing with all aspects of employee relations, including proven experience of case load management
