We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Hollesley Bay. HMP Hollesley Bay is a category D Prison located in Woodbrige, Suffolk, housing around 460 patients who are working towards release. Within this role, you will be patient-facing, working with a small pharmacy team onsite. As well as dispensing, you will be supporting with medicine reviews and clinical screening.
Hours
Bank contract offers flexible working shifts Monday to Friday 8.15am-4.15am.
Salary
This is a bank position with an hourly salary of £26.49.

Main duties of the job
As the Clinical Pharmacist, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Ensure the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service.
* Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensure a safe and modern medicines management service.
* Lead a team of Pharmacy technicians.

Qualifications & Experience
GPhC registered Pharmacist. Available to newly qualified pharmacists and beyond. Management and leadership experience (desirable). Procurement and audit experience (desirable). Vocational Masters Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training. Excellent communication skills. Experience developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
