Our client, a manufacturing company offering only the highest quality products, is looking for a driven individual to act as Engineering Technician, providing daily maintenance of production machinery for their base in Attleborough.
As a newly trained engineering Apprentice or an Engineer with some already gained experience, you will apply your previously acquired mechanical engineering knowledge to respond to factory breakdowns, maximising output and minimising downtime, whilst also demonstrating a proactive approach to carry out preventative maintenance. Acting under your own initiative you will ensure safe operations by carrying out inspections, as well as ensure product quality meets standards, with continuous facility improvement in mind. You will be involved in teaching others within the factory how to safely and correctly operate the machinery to ensure a well versed workforce.
HOURS:
Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm, overtime available, some weekend maintenance work.
Some mechanical and electrical skills with previous maintenance experience will be needed, as well as a willingness to learn and develop in an ever evolving business. Plenty of training will be provided, as well as a salary of £25,000-30,000 depending upon skills and experience.
