You will be able to further develop your chronic respiratory disease management skills through supporting patients on a mixture of patient pathways, including delivering Pulmonary Rehabilitation, assessing patients on and for oxygen therapy, as well as supporting patients with acute COPD exacerbations at home through our Supported Discharge and Admission Avoidance pathways. This role involves working predominantly in the Southwest Hants locality but occasionally providing cover to all other localities provided by the service, it is therefore essential that you are a car driver with a clean driving license. You will see patients within clinic locations, in their homes and via remote working. You will be provided with all equipment required and will receive peer and leadership support to assist you in your role. Salary band: Band 5-6 Developmental Role Main duties of the job The successful candidate will need to demonstrate passion and some experience in chronic respiratory condition management, will ideally have undertaken an accredited post graduate qualification in respiratory care as well as have evidence of supervising staff. Experience in the management and treatment of patients with COPD, Bronchiectasis and Pulmonary Fibrosis would be advantageous, although not essential.
