Here at INK, we believe in beautifully simple, sophisticated art-direction and pride ourselves on attention to detail. We are currently looking for a middle-weight design based simulation artist to join our dynamic and innovative motion team.
The ideal candidate should be driven by exploration and comfortable pushing themselves and their responses to creative problems. Your experience in Houdini will help drive and realise creative concepts by creative leads and help maintain innovation within the motion design team.
We are looking for someone with an experienced background and hands-on approach to their craft. You will be comfortable developing concepts and bringing to life fully realised animations. Also, confident to build and drive complex setups and systems that are efficient and aid the creative team to realise their vision.
R&D is important to us as it contributes to more exploration with creative concepts. With this in mind, we are looking for someone who is comfortable experimenting, having the curiosity to explore and share with the team new workflows and ideas.
From a technical standpoint, we are looking for an artist with both a keen eye for design and excellent technical and creative knowledge. Houdini, Cinema 4D, and Redshift are a must, alongside Adobe Creative Suite. Experience and interest in Unreal Engine would also be an advantage.
The role is situated in our studio in North London, Full-time.
Please share your portfolio and CV via the application form. For any questions, please email us at info@weareink.co.uk.
Please quote the reference “Houdini Artist” in the cover letter.
We actively encourage applications from women, the LGBTQ+ community, and people from ethnic minorities, as these groups are currently under-represented throughout the CGI industry.
INK is an equal opportunities employer dedicated to closing this gap and aims to build a workforce of skilled professionals from a range of diverse backgrounds and offer flexible working hours with opportunity for advancement through the company.
Note: This is a full-time role based onsite in our London studio. Eligibility to work in the UK is a requirement.
