Main duties of the job
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD), you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to people with mental health conditions, including personality disorders. The service operates 24/7, and as a bank nurse, you'll have the freedom to choose your own shifts, with a range of weekday, night, and weekend options available.
Job responsibilities
As a UK Registered Nurse (RMN, RNLD), you will have control and flexibility to work the shifts you want. You can join our nurse staff bank and, after completing a paid two-week induction, you’ll have access to available nursing shifts at Barnet Lane Clinic, plus the potential future option to work bank shifts regionally at other Elysium services across the region.
There is no minimum number of hours that you need to work, although it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained. Weekdays, nights, and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps, you’ll have the nursing shifts at Barnet Lane Clinic secured that you want.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts. As a nurse on our bank, you’ll be on a zero-hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.

Where you will be working:
Location: Barnet Lane, Elstree, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, WD6 3QU. You’ll be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team at Barnet Lane Clinic, which is a 30-bed rehabilitation service for people with a mental illness, including those diagnosed with a personality disorder.
You will work with individuals who may have had placement breakdowns and need intensive review and support to help them move to more independent living, with a focus on supporting people to build a better quality of life for themselves and equip them with the skills needed for community living, supportive relationships, and increased independence.
