We have a vacancy for a Warehouse Technician to join the operations team. the primary goal is to take responsibility for the operation of the product packaging operation and warehousing activities to ensure product is packed safely, efficiently, and to Cabot’s quality standards. The job holder will be trained how to safely operate complex processes to ensure safety, health and environment standards, efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness are all adhered to within the warehouse. The Warehouse Technician will be working in a small team in a dynamic environment and therefore, we are looking for an excellent team player with enthusiasm and flexibility. Contributing to individual & team performance in accordance to site performance metrics (including Safety, off-quality, process safety management, permit compliance); Operating and monitoring WPS processes to ensure safety, process safety, and environmental compliance are met whilst packaging targets are achieved. Occasionally completing product shipping tasks such as container/trailer loading, product tanker filling, inventory movements and recording. Timely maintaining an accurate record keeping / log of incident reports; Looking after Nissen Hut and WPS Housekeeping; Carrying out designated maintenance work orders around the warehouse area; Taking responsibility for any other reasonable duties as required by the individual’s direct line manager.
