Closing Date for Application: Saturday 16/11/2024 Manthorpe Building Products is a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of plastic injection moulded, vacuum formed and extruded products for the building industry. We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Administrator on a full time, permanent basis at our site in Ripley. Role: To perform administrative tasks for aspects within the Warehouse department, ensuring all paperwork and computer tasks are completed in a timely manner. Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 2 shifts, 6:00am until 2:30pm and 8:30am until 5:00pm. Key Responsibilities: Conduct cycle counts and spot checks of stock to maintain accurate stock levels as agreed. To act as a medium for effective knowledge transfer between all departments as required. Ensure all waste products are separated into their designated containers for safe disposal. Monitor the warehouse activity ensuring that stock levels are achieved and maintained. Timely transmission of IFS bookings. Dealing with customer collections. Checking picked orders for accuracy prior to despatch. Communicate with the Warehouse Manager with supply issues encountered. Responsible for the production of delivery notes, carrier labels, and carrier manifests on a daily basis. Recognise and contribute to continuous improvement activities, gathering relevant data and giving ideas and suggestions. Communicate with the Warehouse team on any stock anomalies that may affect production needs. Focusing on health and safety on all activities undertaken. Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping in the area. Be competent in carrying out manual handling tasks. Offering ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement and participating in the activities undertaken. Liaising with the Sales department to arrange the production of commercial invoices for export despatches. Responsible for meeting the departments goals with a health and safety mindset. Participate in and support the implementation of the company wide quality systems and ensure that the staff working for the department work within the quality standards.
