This Senior Business Analyst opportunity is available on a fully remote or a hybrid-working basis - our customer is totally flexible with regards to how you wish to work but you will occasionally need to attend customer/clients meetings and workshops at one of their offices based in Southern England (either, Exeter, Kent or Reading - whichever location is best for you). Working as a Senior Business Analyst you will be responsible for the investigation, analysis, review and documentation of all, or part of our customers business and client organisations. You will be responsible for the definition of requirements for improving processes and systems, reducing their costs, enhancing their sustainability, along with the quantification of potential business benefits. Working closely with the Project and Product Management Teams you will need to understand the key business drivers to provide business analysis in support of project/service design and delivery in order to aid the achievement of the business goals. You will be responsible for the line management and training/mentoring for the Business Analysis functions including coaching more junior team members. You will be leading by example, upholding core values, and setting aside time to support the team when needed. The role will involve: Mentoring junior team members. Providing internal training on analysis techniques. Eliciting programme and project requirements using interviews, document analysis and other techniques. Representing requirements in writing and through other mediums, such as analysis models, prototypes, or scenarios. Leading the documentation of requirements using a variety of graphical and textual techniques such as: Use Cases, Scenarios, Diagrams, Users Stories, Functional Requirements Specifications and Activity/Process Diagrams. Supporting the creation of non-functional requirements from customers and user requirements providing guidance based on service offerings. About You To be successful as the Senior Business Analyst, you will have experience in leading by example and mentoring more junior Business Analysts. You will be confident in your ability to present and communicate to members of all technical ability. You will also have/be: Business Process Analysis skills training. Experience of documenting requirements in the form of user stories and other graphical and textural techniques. Superior analytical and critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Experience on writing customer facing reports. Experience of creating process flows for the 'As Is' process. Degree calibre or relevant experience. Line management experience.
