Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher - Sittingbourne

Salary: Paid to Scale (£153 - £211 per day, depending on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and committed Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher to join the team full-time from January 2025 until July 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to make a real difference, delivering high-quality lessons and fostering a stimulating learning environment for their students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teaching: Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Assessment: Monitor, assess, and report on students' progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support where needed.
• Classroom Management: Create a positive, inclusive, and well-organised classroom environment, ensuring effective behaviour management strategies are in place.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively as part of a team, liaising with colleagues, parents, and carers to support students' learning and personal development.
• Full Responsibilities: Take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, assessment, and attending school meetings or events.
• Professional Development: Actively engage in professional development to stay up-to-date with educational practices and school policies.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 with a proven track record of raising attainment.
• Be adaptable, proactive, and committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
• Be an effective team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Be passionate about education and committed to fostering a love of learning.
• Have a current, valid DBS or be willing to obtain one.
