We are looking for the following as a Gifted and Talented Teaching Assistant:
* A graduate from a Russell Group university - achieving a 1st Class or 2:1 Classification
* Strong Academic Track Record - A-Bs at A-Level
* An intense passion and desire to inspire young people
* A deep understanding of challenges pupils face from lower socioeconomic backgrounds
* Long-term ambitions to work within education (Teaching, Education Policy/Research, Lecturing, Educational Psychology, or similar)
* Resilience, positivity, and a can-do attitude in the face of challenges
* Personality is VITAL - consider yourself a social butterfly? This is what we're after!

The purpose of these positions is to encourage and inspire pupils. There is no glass ceiling at this Tower Hamlets secondary school. Every pupil strives to be the best version of themselves, and it's your role to help facilitate this mindset inside and outside of the classroom.
These Gifted and Talented Teaching Assistant roles are due to start either ASAP or in January 2025. You will work 5 days per week (Monday - Friday), school hours, typically 8:30am - 4:00pm.
