Our client is looking to recruit a HVAC biased Site Manager to oversee the daily activity on HVAC installation and refurbishment projects across several large scale estates in the North West and to assist the project team in pricing and quotations.
The role is a Permanent position paying circa 45k
40 hours per week
van supplied, office and site based (occasional further travel and expenses paid).
Responsibilities:
1. Providing pricing and quotations to HVAC and Critical building services works on commercial grade estates.
2. Overseeing daily site operations and project planning.
3. Supervising in-house and sub-contracting engineers on site.
4. Identifying, managing, and escalating risks where necessary.
5. Driving the project programme, ensuring key milestones are maintained.
6. Preparing and presenting regular progress reports including programme drop lines to project stakeholders.
7. Familiarity with producing onsite dilapidations and completion of validations.
8. Understanding the importance of the development and submission of RFI's, TQ's and driving close out of items raised.
9. Familiarity with Technical Submission procedures and sign off.
10. Making sound business decisions under pressure.
11. Excellent time management, ability to delegate, prioritise key tasks and workload when working to strict deadlines.
12. Leading by example, promoting the highest standards regarding HSEQ best practice, ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, ISO accreditations, and legislative requirements in all instances.
Requirements:
1. Experience of Site/Project Management within HVAC or Critical sectors.
2. Ideally knowledge/experience in Mechanical Engineering.
3. Experience of working in major projects on prestigious facilities.
4. Experience of delivering MEP's and fit-outs.
5. H&S skilled and training with the relevant site qualification.
6. Excellent man-management skills.
7. Experience of sub-contractor oversight on site.
8. An innovative and creative thinker with a high level of enthusiasm, ambition, and professionalism.
9. Valid driving license.
10. Able to clear DBS checks.
