ROLE: Technical Account Manager - Engineering
LOCATION: Darwen
SALARY: Circa £40,000 to £45,000 plus annual bonus circa £8,000
Monday to Thursday 8.30 to 5pm / Friday 8.30 to 2pm

Expanding globally across the UK, Europe, and US, this engineering manufacturer has earned a strong reputation for quality and reliability, serving the Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, Chemical, and High-Value Industrial sectors.
Key Skills:
1. Build proactive conversations with customers to explore additional sales opportunities, support services, service packages, and add-ons.
2. Liase with peers to proactively discuss customer sales and orders.
3. Actively contact customers to sell after-sale services and follow up on quotations.
4. Thorough admin, reporting, written and verbal correspondence skills, coupled with a strong attention to detail.
5. Mechanical engineering knowledge is essential. Could be an ideal role for a Mechanical Engineer seeking a change of direction.
6. Strong communication skills internally, externally, and cross-functionally.
7. Strong planning skills to organise engineer site visits, travel, and diaries.
Attributes:
1. You will be a highly motivated self-starter with knowledge and experience of mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering.
2. Passionate about growing sales and relationships with customers.
3. Live within a commutable distance from Darwen. This is an on-site role.
4. Excellent communicator to develop and build customer relationships ensuring repeat custom.
5. Working with and supporting cross-departmental teams – design, engineers, purchasing, production.
