Domestic/Support Services Supervisor
Dr Grays Hospital
Applicants would be required to work within an established team providing environmental cleaning for Dr Gray’s Hospital and any local site as and when required. Must have the ability to carry out all aspects of the role, be able to work closely with others, and provide a high quality level of work in a demanding environment. Good oral and written communication skills are essential to the role.
The supervisor will be responsible for a team of Domestic Staff and would be expected to either already have experience in a supervisory role or demonstrate a strong understanding of the supervision of staff. This would include effective handling of difficult situations, monitoring performance, rota planning, absence management and positively engaging with all grades of staff in order to maximise the department’s effectiveness.
Hours: 37 hours per week
Rota: Varied shifts between 0700-1600 incl. weekends on rotation.
Salary: Band 3 £26,869 - £28,998
This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity until November 2025.
Applicants would be required to undertake a supervisor’s development program and maintain continuous personal development/training.
