Our Employment, Skills and Enterprise business provides support to citizens, from supporting the unemployed into sustainable work, to upskilling those with low or no vocational skills, so they can progress in work.
Here at Serco we are recruiting for an Administrator to join our Restart team based in Birmingham city centre.
As Administrator you will provide effective administrative support to Serco’s operations team delivering Restart as well providing support to Restart participants coming into the delivery centre and via telephone.
In this role you will deliver consistently high levels of customer service when communicating with participants and operations team, provide an exemplary first impression in this front of house and ensure that all visitors are greeted with the highest degree of customer service.
You will be the main point of contact in respect of any phone calls, day-to-day email and phone contact with participants whilst contributing to team responsibilities including health & safety, office management, archiving and other SMS processes.
You will also be dealing with and managing petty cash flow and reimbursement of participant travel.
What you’ll need to do the role
As Administrator will have excellent organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail, experience in providing excellent telephone-based customer service and able to input data at speed and with a high degree of accuracy.
You must have experience of working effectively within an office-based customer service or sales environment and hold demonstrable experience of delivering high quality customer service. You will need to have previously worked in a fast paced, target orientated environment and have experience of using database systems to input data accurately.
You must also be computer literate (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and have a high attention to detail.
