About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced M&E Delivery Manager / Site Manager to join our team in Fawley, managing mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects up to £1 million. This role is designed to transition from a temporary position to a permanent role after six months, offering an ideal opportunity for someone ready to advance their career within a stable and growing company. In this role, you’ll oversee M&E project delivery from start to finish, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the delivery of M&E projects on-site, coordinating all day-to-day operations and addressing any issues promptly.
2. Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and all on-site personnel to meet project milestones, standards, and client expectations.
3. Monitor and report on budgets, schedules, and project deliverables, keeping senior management updated on progress.
4. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
5. Maintain quality control over all M&E installations, testing, and commissioning processes.
6. Identify and address potential risks, implementing strategies to ensure timely, on-budget project completion.
7. Foster a positive, safety-focused work environment, motivating the team to meet project goals.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Proven experience as a Delivery Manager or Site Manager with a background in M&E project management, ideally with project values up to £1M.
2. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical installations, systems, and safety requirements.
3. Familiarity with M&E-specific health, safety, and compliance standards.
4. Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
5. Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools is a plus.
6. A proactive approach to problem-solving and adaptability to dynamic work environments.
